The Department’s cyber security division created the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) to protect the Nation’s Internet infrastructure by coordinating defense against and response to cyber attacks. US-CERT is responsible for analyzing and reducing cyber threats and vulnerabilities, disseminating cyber threat warning information, and coordinating incident response activities.

The c1 SecureConnect for US-CERT integration allows users to receive cyber threat alerts directly to their ServiceNow instance in order to coordinate incident response activities. An inbound email action integrates alerts and maps the data to the incident response table for users to manage and resolve if needed. A dashboard is provided for reporting on all incidents that have been inbounded through the integration for users to monitor.
