The Solution
c1secure delivered a focused SmartStart Design Phase engagement aligned to ServiceNow’s NOW Create methodology. Over the course of four weeks, c1secure and company conducted collaborative design workshops, captured critical requirements, and created the blueprint for a scalable risk and compliance system to be implemented in a follow-up engagement.

Policy & Compliance Design
- Refined the data architecture and control model to align with business priorities
- Defined the issue, exception, and policy management workflows using out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities
- Validated notification strategies, attestation templates, and governance processes
- Produced fully detailed user stories, project plan, and training & UAT documentation
Advanced Risk Management Design
- Developed the system configuration approach for ServiceNow Advanced Risk, prioritizing OOTB functionality
- Mapped the customer’s existing risk processes into future-state workflow designs
- Defined risk ownership models and notification structures across business units
- Finalized user roles and personas to support an intuitive, self-service risk experience
Unified Design Documentation
- Created a comprehensive Design Document serving as a single source of truth for the future implementation
- Outlined platform configuration, user experience strategy, and implementation considerations
- Identified key dependencies, approval gates, and stakeholder alignment checkpoints
